Subcommittees are the core groups of experts that share information about ongoing and planned research, identify key data gaps, and help maintain alignment and coordination among research and data collection teams. Seven Subcommittees (Marine Mammals, Birds & Bats, Sea Turtles, Habitat & Ecosystem, Protected Fish Species, Technology, and Data Governance) each meet multiple times per year.
